Who Are The Hopkins of Hangzhou?

Other than being amusingly alliterative, who are these people? To be perfectly honest if you’ve stumbled upon this blog that’s an entirely fair question to be asking. However, given the fact that most everyone who could be bothered to read this blog most certainly knows us, the above (In Bold!) question is a rather strange question to ask!

Tom Hopkins

Well first there’s me. Tom Hopkins. I’ll be making a lot of the posts on this blog. I’m originally from Canada but moved to the UK in 2013 to pursue a career in teaching and wearing waistcoats. I have an overwhelming desire/need to travel and at times make terrible decisions. I teach Chinese History to Chinese Children.

Katy Hopkins

Then there’s Katy. My wife and fellow teacher. She’s originally from a place called Grimsby. She quite enjoys running, reading and teaching Classical Civilisations. She also doesn’t like the fact that I decided to use passport photos to populate this post.

Hector Hopkins

Then there is Hector Hopkins. The child of cruel parents who decided to give him an alliterative name. He is nearly 2 years old, ridiculously tiny for his age and has a tendency to roar at cats.
